There is something different about this summer that I can’t put my fingers on. It’s not the amount of segsi men in shorts trotting about/playing football in the park with just shorts (but one must pay homage to that sight nonetheless) Ohh no, or the amount of outdoorsy parties taking place and it’s not the amazing sale, or the sunshine for that matter. It’s something in the air...don’t know what yet, but hi am loven it loven it....So hello July and hello weekend. Again It’ time to Party like its 1999.

I had a great weekend. I’m back in home town and have seen plenty of people. Some of whom I haven’t seen for over 7 years! Most of it was by chance. I was told of a meher dinner taking place so I went and enjoyed bariis iyo hilib with the older guys who used to tell me I couldn’t play football with them back in the day. Chilled with family and friends and enjoyed the usual banter and mickey taking. All good so far.
