The other day I was talking to my Pakistani friend about random things when he said to me:

 

Him: You're Sunni aren't you?

Me: Yes. Why?

Him: Oh nothing. just asking.

 

2 mins later

 

Him: I'm going to Pakistan soon.

Me: Really? Where abouts are you going?

Him: The rich areas. (At this point I'm thinking man this guy likes to boast )

Me: And where abouts is that?

Him: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad. You know the nicer places.

Me: You call those places rich? How sad.

Him: Haha. Very funny.

Me: C'mon man. Don't get all emotional, I'm just taking the piss.

 

Another 2 mins later

 

Him: I'm gonna become a Sufi? (I'm shocked now).

Me: What? Sufi? What are you on?

Him: I'm gonna become a Sufi.

Me: And how are you going to do that?

Him: You know I said I'm going Pakistan.

Me: Yeah.

Him: Well I'm going to visit this really big Sufi mullah and he's gonna train me?

Me: And how's he gonna do that?

Him: He's really good. He can do miracles and heal people. He can even talk to people in their dreams. (I'm getting scared now).

Me: And you believe he can do that?

Him: Ofcourse.

Me: Are you sure about this? Are the family happy about it?

Him: Yeah. They're really supportive except my brother who thinks I'm over the top.

Me: Alright then. (I'm trying to get away from him at this moment ) Anyways man, I've got to go.

Him: See ya. And oh yeah, I'll talk to you in your dreams when I get there.

Me: Yeah...you do that.
