SomeAlien Posted July 26, 2003 is the best movie of all time. it makes you laugh out loud, cry, and *gasp* think. when it first came out in 1971, critiques said, and i quote :"Harold and Maude" has all the fun and gaiety of a burning orphanage." ... *insert tasteless joke here* hahahah, *sigh* critiques dont know what theyre talking about. granted a story about an 80 yr old and a 20 yr old falling in love would leave some folks with a queasy stomach, but this is harold and maude... if their story doesnt touch you than you are not human. *sigh* i just finished watching it and wanted to recommend it to all you fine people, and in turn you all can recommend your fav. films. to moi. and id like to hear of some obscure films too. i know pulp fiction is great, but just name something that isnt as well known, just so we can all have a worthwhile experience at blockbuster tonight... yes, thats right, im spending my saturday at home . *pregnant pause* YOU CANT JUDGE ME!!! *sobs uncontrollably*

TALK TO ME, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEZ!!! IM BURNING!!! (if you watched Harold and Maude youd see how funny this is)

SomeAlien Posted July 27, 2003 ah, yes, i heard great things about "the hours", virginia wolfe right? im also leaning towards "spirited away", its an anime film.right now i just finished watching "poetic justice", good movie. maya angelou wrote all the poems for janet.. i felt cheated when i read that in the credits, i was hoping it was someone less known instead of queen maya. btw, please watch harold and maude, its really worth it, youll laugh from the beginning to the end, promise. Valenteenah. Posted July 27, 2003 Check out LEON, if u haven't seen it b4. It is about the sweet relationship that develops between a (slightly slow) mob assassin and a precarious twelve-year-old orphan, when he rescues her from the men who killed her family. One of those movies that you should watch alone. I've seen it a lot of times and I still cry at the ending.

SomeAlien Posted July 28, 2003 "scent of a woman" is good but i should warn you flying stil its nothng like "scar face". silence of the lambs" is scary and disturbing... go rent it now. the sequel sucks, but the prequel, "Red Dragon", is great. enjoy. Reality Check Posted July 28, 2003 I recommend Kama Sutra ...(Get your heads out the gutter, it's not a porn) rather it's an Indian love story in the 15th century.... I love that movie...good story line and no SUBTITLES! There are alot of good movies floating around..just can't think of one this early in the morning!
