Bossaso 2010 Film

Recommended Posts

Cowke

This new film done by minnesota diaspora community who visited bossaso this year and recorded a film of the town. Totally majestic!!!

Enjoy

Ps: As for the run-way of the airport that needs to be completed by puntland government which they are working on. Plus The extension of the port is a big must if we want more customers!!!

My suggestions again for 2010 for bossaso to improve on the following areas

1. Road network through the city. The bossaso administration has been promising for years now yet has done maybe 1 or 2 roads for the towns. They really need to improve there.

2. Urban Planning. We need to separate the city into three distinct areas. 1 area be the financial zone where companies can come and build their properties and contribute to the activity of the financial capital of puntland. Plus segment a residential areas only to locals or people who come from abroad to build homes. and then we need the third zone for dekeda and beachside and make sure the dhows are lined up in orderly fashion and designated an area.

3. Roads. This is a promise the bossaso locals have been hearing for years but no local bossaso admin has really delivered. Lets hope the new bossaso admin actually delivers and sets up road-network with street signs in the city to make traffic smoother.

4. Airport runway pavement needs to be done. Farole has been calacaaling for months about completing it but i haven't seen anything he has added that is worthy to be mentioned.

5. Dekeda expansion and port facility headquarters cade muse was doing farole is still failing on continuing it!!!

Anyone else has any inputs for imrpovement of the city would be appreciated. Plus We need to finally settle on the hamar issue and get back our properties from there and our investments. We are only building for the past 11 years with not even half our financial muscle. We need to settle those dead accounts. I know just uunlaaye had multi million dollars in hamar which hasn't even been addressed by sheik sharif.

Anyways thats my input, but so-far excellent job bossaso and keep up the hard work!!!

Plus farole hasn't even updated the public on how the work is going on the new parliamentary buildings he started the construction work in garowe on march 2009.

Here is the design draft of how the parliament is to look.

However totally no update from farole in relation to the progress. If they can finish building galkayo terminal in 3 months as they stated recently I don't see why it needs to take 1 year to set up the new parliamentary buildings. I know it's just not 1 parliament building their doing they are working on doing totally new ministry buildings which most of the ministry buildings have been completed.

It's just the parliamentary building I haven't seen any update on iyo halkee buu mareya!!!

Anwar. Puntland Iyo Somali flag wa lama taabtaan. Since 1960 illa manta weligeena ma dhigin iyo weligeena ma dhigi doona. Even when we have politicians who are mucarad to the president in hamar, they always have the blue flag.
