Raxmah Posted August 7, 2003 Every single day, when we wake up from a short death we have another chance to say Alhamdullillah...... Alhamdullillah. Not because we have another chance to show the world who we are. Not because we have another chance to have more fun. Not because we have another chance to see and love the ones that are so close to us. I mean, you can and should be thankful for that. But we should thank Allah subhana wa' ta'la for we have another chance to live up to the word Muslim. To LIVE up to the word Mu'minah. We have another chance to show Allah (Subhana wa’ ta’la ) how much we love Him. We have another chance to act upon the Qur’an and the Sunnahs of our Prophet. We have another chance to show Allah subhana wa'ta'la that every desirable thing in this world is NOTHING; that our desire is to Please Him, To Worship Him, To Love Him. We have another chance to be the best Muslim in the Eyes of Allah subhana wa’ ta’la. My dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, Just imagine What if we don't wake up tomorrow? What if we don't get another chance? What are we going to say? Brothers and Sisters Alhamdulilah Alhamdulilah everyday we wake up with so many chances With the greatest chance any human being dead or alive could ask for and we are simply throwing them away. Just consider, out of every hour of your life, how much time did you spend in the cause of Allah? Did you remember the words of Al-Fatiha? Did you take time to thank Allah for all that you have? Did you call on Allah to guide your way? Did you spend time remembering Allah? Did you smile at your brother or sister, Were you kind to your parents Did you teach another person something that you know or did the love of this world led you astray? Did you turn to Allah And did you obey HIM? Brothers and Sisters in Islam every day, every minute, every second of our life is worth a lot. Out of 24 hours in each day cant we spent at least HALF AN HOUR. Just half an hour to glorify Allah and thank Him for all that we have. Alhamdulillah, with the Tawfeeq of Allah subha na wa' ta'la, we have come to spend a few moments of our lives for a great goal to achieve Jannah and to engage in a great a'mal(deeds). I am saying this from the core of my heart and not out of simple habit. There are truly great rewards and ranks of Paradise to be earned from sitting for the Remembrance of Allah subhana wa ta'la, from reciting the Qur’an and from doing nawaafil acts of worship. It is really a very great favour from Allah subhanawa ta'la that He gives these opportunities in life where we can direct ourselves towards the true goal of Jannah. If we look at how many minutes and hours are in one day and all these chances compared to what we have given to Allah subhana wa’ta’la…it’s like nothing. I must bow my head down in shame........... I wouldn’t say this except if it were the truth. But it seems like I say a lot but I hardly apply them to myself. Allah subhana wa’ ta’la gave me so many chances, soooooooo many CHANCES alhamdulilah…to show Him my faith, to show Him how much I love Him. I bow my head down in shame. I often wonder…how can he forgive us? Us-HUMANS? How can he forgive ME? I have given Him so little…yet when I disobey Him and do something Wrong, He INSIST’s in the Qur’an that He will forgive me…If I just ask. JUST Ask sincerely with a feeling of guilt and with a promise not to do it again. Subhanallh~~~~ It is not enough that you get emotional, that you get tears. Nooooooo, the main thing is that you become a better human being, a better Muslim, and acquire good manners and start following the Sunnah of Rasoolullah salalahu aleyhi wasalam and acquire the love of Rasoolullah in our hearts. Allah subhana wa'tala doesn't expect you to be perfect as no human being is perfect. What he asks us to atleast try to be as GOOD as POSSIBLE. May Allah subhana wa ta'la give us the tawfeeq to do this. ~~ Ya! Allah you gave us soooo many chances. So many chances to glorify you, to repent, to thank for all you have given us but we miss all these chances. ********************************************* Ya! Allah bestow mercy upon us and forgive us for you are Oft forgiving. Ya Allah protect us from ourself for our soul is very weak. Ya Allah make every second, minute, day of our lives according the way of Qur’an and Sunnah. Ya Alllah we are an imperfect creature and we shall go wrong. Please forgive us and help us guide every second of our precious life and let us not loose our way...... A'meeen~~~A'meen~~~~

Raxmah Posted August 8, 2003 Asalamu alaikum Diamond Princess ur welcome sis. Thanks for the compliment, I just wrote it for MSA, becasue all the members have to give a little speech on how we can help each other become better muslims. I just thought I should share it with the nomads. I'm happy you like it though, but it seems not alot of ppl are interested in reading it cause is probably too long.
