Jacaylbaro Posted November 2, 2008 As we all know, the tragic terrorism attack in Somaliland has taken the lives of at least 21 people and many others are severely wounded.The Somaliland government doesn’t have the means and resources to respond to this tragedy effectively without massive help form the Diaspora community. Many people that are wounded need to be airlifted. There is a need of blood and medical supplies. To this end, Somaliland Community in Virginia is organizing a community event in the Washington Metropolitan area to raise funds for the victims of the bombing in Hargeysa. Please join us and do your part in helping out families and victims affected by this tragic event. The people in Somaliand have endured many hardships before and this too shall pass, because as the saying goes "whatever does not kill you, makes you stronger" Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families of the bombings.
