The good news came after the PM held day-long talks with the union of presidential candidates at an upscale Decale hotel inside the city’s main airport. The Somali government has apologized for February 19 incident and agreed to allow the opposition to hold a peaceful protest in the capital within 10 days. The opposition and the government announced they will continue the talks on the political crisis and the electoral process in the country, a move that paves the way for an inclusive, free, and fair poll.
