Posted February 19, 2021 Somali PM Mohamed Hussein Roble, today expressed his deep sorrow over the clashes in Mogadishu that broke out after opposition candidates’ loyalists attacked Govt bases. Roble described what happened as unfortunate and slammed attempts to derail the progress made by his government in the country by the power-hungry figures. He called on the public not to accept another war to happen in their city and the destruction of their property, homes, and peace. Prime Minister Roble “It is unfortunate that in the year 2021 someone claims to have taken over Mogadishu and said that there is no government in place in the country” He reiterated his pledges that an inclusive and peaceful election will take place, expressing his readiness to sit down and reassure anyone with concerns.
