South West State President Inaugurates a New Hotel in Baidoa

Baidoa (PP News Desk) — President of South West State Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed yesterday inaugurated a new hotel in the city of Baidoa. Ruunjinaat, the hotel-cum-restaurant venture, is one of new hospitality businesses raising the profile of Baidoa as a destination for Somali investors.

An official from South West Chamber of Commerce, who spoke at the event, commended the owner of the new hotel for creating job opportunities in the city.  Bisharo Ali Nur, the owner of Ruunjinaat Hotel, lauded South West State Government for promoting investment and commercial ventures in Baidoa and other districts.

“It gives me pleasure to officially inaugurate Ruunjinaat Hotel and Restaurant. Bisharo has played a significant role in state-building due to her patriotism. Such business ventures are only possible when a government promotes investment. That is what South West Government has been doing” said South West State President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed.

Baidoa, the interim administrative capital of South West State, is becoming a sought-after destination for investors in such different sectors as hospitality, real estate, telecommunications and financial services. Baidoa boasts several tourist attractions of which Isha Baydhaba is the most popular.
