Bomb blast kills one and wounds several in Somali capital

At least one civilian person killed and another wounded in a roadside bomb explosion near KM4 junction in Mogadishu on Saturday night, police said.

Reports say the IED blast was targeted a bulletproof vehicle belonging to an unnamed official. No group says it has carried out Saturday’s explosion.

It’s the second bombing in the same area within a week.

At least 11 killed in a bomb and gun attack by Al-Shabaab on Afrik hotel along airport road last week.
