Somaliland: President Muse Bihi Receives Norwegain Delegation

 

The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, received a delegation from Norway led by the special envoy to the region,
Ambassador Theidi Johansen and the deputy Ambassador to Kenya, Stian Christensen.

The meeting held at the presidency focused on bilateral cooperation, including the Somaliland Development Fund, security, good governance and the forthcoming parliamentary and local elections.

The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, called upon Norway, as an impartial country, to take part in the final dissolution talks with the former union partner, Somalia.

The Norwegain delegation is expected to meet with parliamentarians, opposition party officials, the business community and social organisations whilst in the country.
