I look to Africa

Hard to believe but lately I have been looking to Africa to satiate my music appetite. I am wondering what African musical artists you listen to that are in the same genre as Jay-Z, Mos Def, Rihanna, Coldplay, Sean Paul etc.

 

Here are some of the ones I have found so far.

... F. Ribery (the footballer) makes an appearance in this video

..... a fusion of dancehall and techno with a splash of latin flava

..... I know they use autotune on this

 

Currently the music scene in US is full of auto tune and songs being redone.....no originality
