Katrina Posted December 1, 2005 TOP 10 REASONS TO DATE AN ENGINEER 10. The world does revolve around them... they choose the coordinate system 9. No "couple" enjoys a better "moment" 8. They know how to handle stress and strain in a relationship 7. They have significant figures 6. EK301: The motion of rigid bodies 5. Projectile motion: Do we need to say more? 4. Engineers do it to specification 3. According to Newton, if two bodies interact, their forces are equal and opposite 2. They know it's not the length of the vector that counts, but how you apply the force 1. THEY KNOW THE RIGHT HAND RULE Maybe you've all seen this before...a refresher never hurt. #1's my favorite, the product of many EM classes.
Katrina Posted December 1, 2005 Doubt #2 is accurate and should have a disclaimer.
Gediid Posted December 1, 2005 ^^^^^And how can you prove #2 is inaccurate and what sort of disclaimer DO YOU suggest?????
Katrina Posted December 1, 2005 Hola, You want me to "prove" it isn't true? That's a trick question, no? Next, you'll be asking me to prove the boundary conditions or Maxwell's equations, right? #2 has been proven by science...claimed by men Anywaz, it's a combination of both; the length of the vector determines the magnitude of the force. My disclaimer: Don't try at home!
CHE Posted December 1, 2005 Katrina, -NO.1,Every lil pervert knows, and applied with a great deal of satisfaction, the RHR. -NO.5,I DID NOT KNOW somali sisters were open to that....they've come a long way. -NO.4, right thurr means "right there", the spot and nonewhere else. -NO.2, assumption is made about the length of an engineer's *****. I like u just fine though, you've made good case for engineers.
Walk_for_Somalia Posted December 2, 2005 I personally would give you top ten reasons why not to date one. Many somali men develop a superiority complex. The best part that i personally enjoy is when you drop a bomb on them and tell them you are one too. Watch them sweat, get nervous and drop everything around them. Clumsy i tell ya. What a sight though! I gurantee you will laugh all the way home. So enjoy ladies.
CHE Posted December 2, 2005 You think so Jomana? You're probably right, its usually their looks that intimidate me than their intellect.
Katrina Posted December 2, 2005 I personally would give you top ten reasons why not to date one. Many somali men develop a superiority complex. LOL, Jomaana true dat! Only in reading Che' reply did I realize what it seemed I was insinuating...yeah call me slow but nooo my mind wasn't in the gutter when I posted it. I truly enjoyed the associations based on what I do everyday. Reading it put a smile on my face, thought it would for others. Trust me, I have no interest in dating a man coz he's an engineer. Heck if I wanted to do that I'd date myself! I dream of a day where Somali men judge themselves based on the content of their character and not the size of their car, house, bank account, qabil, j.o.b or size of their shoes. What an impossible dream! Hope you don't mind, what displine are you?

Katrina Posted December 2, 2005 U'all (ibtisam, Castro, Jomaana and my fav Rowda) are killing me with humor on this holy Friday! Stop, I tell you!! Jomaana, ditto sis electrical all the way. Is there any other way to go?? In all seriousness those are good qualities but me referring to those who acquire the additional quality of pride/arrogance thru the process. Ain't nothing uglier than an obnoxiously arrogant man/female but it uglier on a man? Ibtisam; I can vouch for Castro's bank acct. and his qabil it's not the best but a gurl could do worse. Castro; Tell me something I don't already know...like will you marry me and let's make Nur happy. Rowda; LOL your 10 Reasons will be blown-up and laminated in my place. If you only knew...bulls-eye sis. lol
Walk_for_Somalia Posted December 2, 2005 lol Castro....you can say that. psssst dont tell my parole officer SOL is addictive...so im trying to stay sober or else there will be all kinda project delays and my behind wont be warm sitting in this comfortable chair. Instead it would be cold sitting on the concrete floor of my building along with my desk belongings. Godforbid  First of all wlc to SOL Rowda Secondly OUCH that hurts. My dear sis, you could have avoided accumulating all that hate if you just applied all the math laws you learned in school. They can be applied in real life believe me. You can refer to E-Nuri's posts. Calculate right, set the rules of the game (make him follow it) and be 1 or 2 steps ahead of the him.
