Shumey Posted March 18, 2007 Hi u all, Just wanted to share this great resource with ya: http://www.gutenberg.org/catalog/ Gutenberg and his publishing agency are offering thousands of books for free to all mankind. I found many educational books there e.g on critical thinking, literature, fiction, African history/slavery/poetry/ etc. Even on Somali history/classical poetry. My fav is "the destiny of the soul"....must read!! Enjoy!

Libaax-Sankataabte Posted March 18, 2007 I think this other list from one of our advertisers is a better list and more easier to find than the "downloads" at the Swedish site. The site has been advertising on the frontpage of SOL for many months. http://books.onelang.com/

Cara. Posted March 18, 2007 The books on these websites are ones that have their copyrights expired. Project Gutenberg is really amazing, and the other site seems to be equally extensive. Now I have two websites filled with books I want to read but never seem to have time for.
