Baluug Posted April 10, 2008 An Egyptian al-Qaida boss believed to be the planner behind the foiled 2006 terrorist plot to blow up airliners over the Atlantic is dead of natural causes, U.S. counterterrorism officials said Wednesday. One official said the strategist, Abu Obeida al-Masri, was also responsible for attacks on U.S. forces in Afghanistan and is linked to the July 7, 2005 attacks on the London transit system, one official said Wednesday. Al-Masri is believed to have died of hepatitis in late 2007 in Pakistan's lawless tribal area bordering Afghanistan, a second counterterrorism official said. BOB Posted April 10, 2008 Salam Aleikum W.W I would really appreciate if some one could explain to me...what the West mean...U.S in particular when they accuse one of being a member of Al Qaeda...because as I understand...if one is as devout Muslim as one supposed to be then sooner rather than later that particular person will find him/herself on the West's Al Qaeda list but if you're alcohol drinking, Interest consuming, non-praying type then you will become the most famous 'muslim' on the planet and you'll be asked to give lectures in Western Universities and you will be appearing Talk show after talk show and the Westren world will literally hail you as a savior and you'll be known as a 'Moderate Muslim'. PS. My late father ( May Allah s.w Have Mercy On His Soul) once said to me...if you see a 'muslim' person that's only being praised by the non-muslim countries...don't trust that person and no wonder the likes of Egypt's Hosni Mubarak, the ruler of Jordan, the rulers of the gulf states and last but not least our own warlords come to mind...they all got one thing in common...in the Western world they're known as 'Moderate Muslims' while in the Muslim world we call them 'Mujrimeen'.
