When your life is shattered to pieces, when a friend turns to be your enemy, when your car is repossessed, when your parents hate to see you, when you drop out of school and loose your job, Dont Worry, Be happy ..... naaah, it is not practical to be happy when everything goes wrong in your life. So what is the reason bad things happen to you? Cheer up, it could be that Allah Loves you and He is tryig to get your attention because yo are going so fast that the only way to get your attention to think about your purpose in life is a flat tire, being late to work, getting fired, loosing your house, wife asking for adivorce or running away with a boy friend, and slowly you are a wandering homless after being a stable person well respected in his community. Do you have similar problems like those Ive mentioned above? If the answer to the above question is yes, then, read below, I have some good news for you. If you buy a new appliance, a software, or any or any product, you'd find a User's Guide accompanying that product. If like most Somalis you throw away the manual and operate the devise, then surprises are in store for you, Chances are that you are going to have problems in utilizing that product, worse yet, it may cause damage to you or your other properties, then you cry " alla hooyooy" when your mamma cant help you. To avoid such a result, it is advised that your read your User's Guide routinely, les you forget essential directions needed for the proper operation of your devises. Now, imagine your life as that DEVISE, and you are expected to operate it. Every device is used for specific purposes. Washer Machines clean our clothes Computers process information So, What is the purpose of your life? If you fail to understand the purpose of your life, you will not understand how to operate your life, as simple as that. So before you take your frustration on people, before you punch the wall and break your fists out of anger, sit back and answer, what is your purpose in life? When you figure out this purpose, the proper operation of your life would be a piece of cake. that is when you can sing "Don't Worry, be Happy!" Allah tells you in the Quraan that he created you as the final touch and perfection of all his creatures. You are the master of all creatures, every creature is second to you. Keep your chin up! You were meant to be servant to the Almighty creator of all. The one and only. So do not demean yourself and be slave for your lusts like animals! Everything else were created to serve you, So you can serve Allah SWT. So instead, when you serve everything else and become a slave and (calooshii la cayaar), And forget the service of your creator, You fall from grace, you become DULLI. You become slave to everything You fear everhting You become insecure Then, you listen to the influence of this creature who hates you. A creature who happens to be very envious of your place in the universe and is betting to prove that you are not worthy of the high place Allah has awarded you. This creature can influence you remotely without feeling his influence. This creature is behind all your failures in life, and he is not done with you yet. You were warned not to take him as a friend This creature constantly puts glitter in things not useful, or harmful to you. This creature at the end wants to divert you from the path for you which you were meant to take in life. This path is described in the User's Guide: The Holy Quraan and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAWS. This creature is called SATAN. Satan is behind your problems Satan is behind your sorrow Satan is behind your misery So, break friendship with Satan and Pray to Allah Allah is a better friend, and Allah is the best defender. Free your self from serving Satan And claim your high place by serving Allah alone. Come home today, be free from Satans influence and surrender to Allah alone, to BE HAPPY and NOT TO WORRY again. Nur Posted June 10, 2004 So How to be happy? Well, The most important factor in attaining happiness is resolving issues that matter to one's life, and death. The sooner you resolve these issue, the happier you will get The first of these factors is figuring out your place in this world, your significance and role. Once all the pieces are put together, that is when you will feel relieved. The second factor is knowing your maker, and appreciating his dominion over all things. Any art student can tell you how great a painting is when all you see is couple of colored strokes on a wall, like wise, a Music student can tell you about Bach, Beethoven and Verdi. Unless you appreciate their work you would not be able to appreciate these artists. (Wa lillahul Mathalul Aclaa) (Note: This is for the sake of exaple only, Islam does not promote Music, Sheitan does!) To really know Allah SWT is to really look deeply into his creations which represent the living Book of life with all of its complexities and wonders. The more you immerse your self in this realm, the more you find yourself at awe with Allah SWT. The third factor is beginning to Love and seek Allah and taking the first steps toward his direction. The fourth factor is finding all the answers to all the questions that you may have in the Holy Quraan and the Sunnah of the Messenger SAWS. The Fifth factor is loving Allah SW and the messenger SAWS. The Sixth factor is translating your love for Allah and his apostle to actions that show in your character when dealing with others. Serenity, respect and dignity. The seventh factor is constant remembrance of Allah SWT and Dhiker, and Salaat on the soul of the Rasoul as an appreciation of his delivery of this great Deen to us. The eigth factor is the realization that Allah, your ilaah, is the sole power and the Sovreign ( Samad) who runs everything that you see or hear. Nothing scapes his plan and nothing can outwit Allah SWT. He is the source of all the requirements of his dominion and everything we see happens for a purpose whose secret only Allah fully knows. The ninth factor is, after that realization to think positively about Allah SWT. The tenth Factor of happiness is praying to Allah, making many Duaa to Allah, the only one who can deliver your needs when distressed. Prayers are joyful experience. The 11the factor is controlling your desires and aligning them with the revelation. The more you are in control of your desires, the happier you will feel. Obedience to Allah is in itself a pleasure that only those who safeguard their desires can enjoy. And the joy Allah puts in your heart when you obey him, is indeed a great joy, so good, some Salaf people have described it that Jannah must be good if one can get a feeling as good as enjoying the remembrance of Allah. The 12th factor Making the obligatory Ibaadaat. Like Prayers, Fasting etc. The more you observe, the happier you shall feel. The Morning and afternoon Dhiker. These are prescribed sayings that our Prophet SAWS have taught us to say at dawn and sunset. Saying these adhkaar can put a lot of ease and happiness into your life. It can reduce your sins, increase your hasanaat and protect you from Sheitaan. The 13the factor and by far the most important one is the Tilaawatul Quraan. The recitation of Quraan is a soul filling experience. If you look deeper into the Quraan, you may not be able to stop, it is another world, and it is a joyful world when you meet the good folks mentioned in Quraan. Rest assured, that if you set aside a particular time in your daily schedule for reading Quraan, you will get a great dose of hapiness. Reading Quraan relaxes you, keeps you tension down, eases your preoccupations and belittles you worries, the single most source of Misery.
