With an excellent track record of recruiting from the communities it serves the company is seeking to employ a number of craft apprentices in Lambeth, Southwark and Westminster. Opportunities are across a range of construction and utilities trades dependant on the suitability of selected applicants. All trainees will work towards an NVQ qualification. Applicants should be in receipt of JSA or another benefit. Hours: Full time with 8.00am start Salary: To be confirmed Essential requirements • Able and willing to work towards a full NVQ qualification in plumbing or domestic gas installation and servicing or electrical installation etc. • Sufficient numeracy and literacy skills to carry out requirements of work and training • Able to understand and work to Health and Safety guidelines. • Good communication and presentational skills as will be working in tenants homes • Able to demonstrate the ability to carry out practical tasks and use hand tools Applicants should apply by addressing the five points listed above on AFC response form.
