Kala Duwan Clan Posted September 15, 2020 Notice the myth that the author continues to perpetuate. That overwhelming majority of the Somalis are part of a single, homogeneous ethnic group. All Somalis are Muslim and share the same language and culture. If this is the case then why has Somalia's civil war and fracture society still unable to reconcile and move on from this failed state? There are many factors that caused the civil war. From Barre running out of money for his troops in May 1990 to Clan based resistance movements hell bent on revenge. But what has kept Somalis from reconciling and moving forward to a brighter future? Clans killing each other cannot be the only factor. Something has made Somalia stuck and this factor is sadly not explored in this document. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/10246029.2006.9627386?journalCode=rasr20

Kala Duwan Clan Posted September 18, 2020 The truth of the matter is Somalis down south are not the same as the Somalis up north. This is as clear as day. Somalis in general are selfish people and so only really care about their sub clan and next of kin. The South is to barbaric and uncivilised to form a government so why prolong this failed backward country called "Somalia". It simply does not work. Time to move on. Here is a map of the political reality on the ground in Somalia (U.N member state allowed in 1960). As you can see Somalia no long exists and should have been put out of its miserable state along time ago.
Kala Duwan Clan Posted September 24, 2020 With Somalia still in the state of civil war and Somaliland being refused a seat on the U.N. How will the story end? This impasse cannot stand forever and a resolution is needed for Somalis to move on.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted September 25, 2020 The story will end as always 2 seperate countries. No in the world wants a war between Somalia and Somaliland. They are already two different nation for over 3 decades. There is zero political interaction and minimum economic interaction.

But in order for Somaliland to join the U.N Mogadishu is going to have to let go. I think the Southerners still think its 1960's and have no clue that we in Somaliland have moved on as a separate nation.
