Blessed Posted May 25, 2011 Aaliyah, hooyo used to make it, it looked easy, can't say I paid too much attention but you pretty much add all the ingredients and cook for hours. We each had to take a 'walaaq turn', bal imagine standing over a hot digsi for a whole hour, it's pure torture. Iska ka soo gado ayaa la qaatay. Hot xalwo is nice though... Laakin anigu markaan wax kariyo I get this satisfaction that I have made something for myself lol..marka walahi im excited to make xalwad. Inshallah I will try it this weekend!.. and I never saw my mom making it, but she told me she knows hw n she used to make it.
