Valenteenah. Posted August 11, 2010 As we don't have a jobs section, thought there should at least be a thread for international development jobs in the Horn. I've seen quite a few roles come up in Somalia/land, in recent months. Anyway, here's one: Project Officer: Advocacy, Communications and Research – Somalia/Somaliland Organisation: Saferworld Salary: KSH 2,033,583 – 2,568,736 – KSH gross per annum Based in Nairobi, Kenya with frequent trips to Somalia/Somaliland, Kenya Closing date 25.08.2010 Posted date 10.08.2010 Job description: OneWorld.net Apparently 2 million Kenyan shillings is equivalent to about £16k, so the money is terrible, but if you work in the NGO sector and you need international experience, it's a perfect role.
