The Somali Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources has approved board selections for the fledgling Somali Petroleum Authority (SPA), appointing Ibrahim Ali Hussein as the regulator’s first chairman and chief executive officer ahead of the launch next week of a delayed licensing exercise.
