Just because nobody bothers taking photos of your tribe’s gudhuu sessions does not mean the politicians of other tribes should not meet or cannot meet of their own volition and will.

So, you used the word Gudhuu, which you do not understand what it means. What that picture representing is not a tribal meeting, it is colonial nations organizing their loyal tribes from south to north for the next election, hoping success for this time. It is sad day for Somalia but Somali people will revolt again.

It is beyond sad. In kuwaas oo sheegto inay wax barteen and want to be national leaders inay tolkooda ku qasbaan shirar noocaan ah. It is not even odey dhaqameedka who want shirtoleedkaan. It is facilitated by kuwaan sheeganaayo inay dhiseen ururo qaran.

At least four of them - Shariif, Xasan Sh., Geedi iyo Cosoble - created 'national' parties Soomaalida kale ku jirto and here they are in clan meetings. What do other Soomaalis, who are members of their parties, think this? No wonder some of them already left from those parties.
