NGONGE Posted September 22, 2008 Sheh, for the touristy thing I think Norf is the one to ask. When I went, I shunned the hotels and went to stay with friends in one of the poorest areas in Syria. The people are great but the country has nothing much to offer (for me at least). If I didn't have those friends I think I would have been bored within two days. CL, Are you calling me a liar, mere laddo? A liar?
sheherazade Posted September 22, 2008 ^nothing to offer you? Norf ilaahey ha noo daayo. He'll resurrect a thread for us.

NGONGE Posted September 22, 2008 ^^ Dee I'm not into checking out buildings and old ruins. Are you? Like I said, the people are great. Men and women would stop and having a conversation with you in the street with no worry or trouble.

Valenteenah. Posted September 22, 2008 First day of autumn and I feel sick. Sick with grief. And sick from the smell of the person sitting across from me. In either case, it's a sickening day.
