Juxa Posted August 4, 2009 sayid, pre-existing condition is any known condition/cudur known to you or your family prior to you obtaining the cover, you see you must declare it otherwise your cover will be invalid. you must also declare any family history with regards to heart conditions or cancer, specially if you have preventive screening ( again for breast, ovarian etc cancer, i assume it applies to women) or prostrate cancer (for men). walalow it all depends what sort of cover you getting, whatever you do, make sure you obtain life cover and name the beneficiries. is it danbi by the way getting life insurances? Ibtisam Posted August 4, 2009 ^^^Yes it is, but he is getting a health insurance. Sayid: They will only cover if a) You've told them before hand and they've agreed or b) It is a suprise illness, new that started within your cover time. So e.g. You cannot say 9yrs ago I fell of my Geel and I need treatment now. you have to say I fell on the stairs the day after my cover started Read Juxa's explanation too. SayidSomal Posted August 4, 2009 Thanks Juxa - what u don't understand is this bit where they say Unless... unless: we were given all the medical information that we asked for during your application for your current continuous period of membership, and: we did not specifically exclude cover for the pre-existing condition on your membership certificate under Special conditions you did not know about, or have any symptoms of, the pre-existing condition before the ‘Period of cover from’ date on the first membership certificate for your current continuous period of membership so let say that i tell them,by ticking certain options like kidney problem blah blah - will they turn around and ask for evidence or will they just issue the crtificate and add special note that says we won't be paying for that as you already had it etc. and are they allowed to see your medical file before insuring you - if you tick everything as healthy as an OX. sorry to many questions - my pm is not working. Juxa Posted August 4, 2009 sounds all too much for my liking yarka if you have existing condition and specify the same, they will ask a report from your GP or the specialist who diognised you, alternatively they will ask you to be examined by their doctors if your health cover is extensive. they will only see your medical file, GP or hospital records if and when you give express written consent. before you tick, read it twice. SayidSomal Posted August 4, 2009 juxa - don't pay attention to Malika - she is just little green eyed cos i didn't give her any questions. on serious note thanks for clarifying this things - i am felling this health insurance's health status questionaire - i wanna be sure in what i am trying to do here. before i think all this answers - most of them are all yes and no - but if you think the yes - they came with another hundred questions - so i was attempted to tick all no. this is not for me - it is for a family member in Qardho. so i have to be sure of what i am doing before i waste money. as for rewards - i have kilo of Xalwo, Timir with Odkac (muqmad)and Lows - any of you ladies wanting to be suxul baruur - i'll send a half kilo on your way.
