You too Serenity ? Maybe it’s the same one? Although I’m less excited, I have no clue what to wear, where my shoes are and that crash a few days ago when I woke up must have been some of my accessories falling off behind the shelf…Fairy Godmother is in dire need here.

I dont actually know who is getting married, all I know is that its family and I must attend. LoL.

Val, I dont mind contructive criticism. I just dont like people shooting off their mouths for no reason.... specially when you dont care to hear what they have to say.

Val , as far as I know it’s a dirac affair, all weddings nowerdays are mostly dirac Dos.

 

Serenity, that would be cool. Is the wedding your attending at least in London? West London? Not to give too much away to your many stalkers. I seem to have many ppl who are ‘family’ whom I don’t know either.

 

Legend I don’t need a date, although my dance card is fully booked, plus a date would be very limiting .

I can just picture what your bedroom would look like tonight. Only friendless girls do their changing alone when it comes to weddings. So I expect that you'll have at least two other ladies (sisters or friends) changing with you. You'll spend four hours talking about the wedding you're going to and another four talking about other things. You'll empty the wardrobes and try on everything that you have! You will light up some uunsi! You will hog the toilets and several other bedrooms. The house phone will not stop ringing.

 

When you're finally ready to leave you'll all look a million dollars. You will leave a total and utter carnage behind you though. I mean, if it's a dirac wedding, why do you leave dresses, skirts, shirts, trousers, suits, hats and even a sunglasses or two strewn all over the house? Why is the bathroom full of bits of makeup? Why does the entrance to the front door of the house resemble a mosque with millions of shoes, trainers and stilettos thrown all over the floor?

Ha ha ha Serenity, I think I've gone taller and I no longer wear trainers/sports shoes or anything comfy and studenty, oh and I've wiped off the 'don't you dare even look at me' expression. So definately a lot more friendlier

NGONGE, I wish I took that much interest in dressing up. I'm gonna be home by 6:30 and out the door at 7:30. Probably be ready in 40mins, throw on a dirac and out the door.

 

Of course, my lack of preparation always makes me feel less dressy and pretty than every other girl in the place. .

 

But I really couldn't be bothered to put in the effort! You see, I'm not looking. . I'm taken ha ha!.

NG, your powers of observation are other worldly. That was me at 21 you described. Nowadays, my shoes are neatly lined up in their original boxes and my clothes are colour-coordinated and neatly sectioned. All the time.
