-Lily- Posted July 6, 2007 You too Serenity ? Maybe it’s the same one? Although I’m less excited, I have no clue what to wear, where my shoes are and that crash a few days ago when I woke up must have been some of my accessories falling off behind the shelf…Fairy Godmother is in dire need here. Munira, are you super excited?
Legend of Zu Posted July 6, 2007 ^^^ is it mixed genders? I mean the aroos? do you have a date? Cheers
Valenteenah. Posted July 6, 2007 Zu, lol...c'mon, anyone would want to work with our Serenity. They just need to make sure they don't criticise anything she does. Lily, is it not a dirac wedding? I tend to think those are the easiest to dress for. -Serenity- Posted July 6, 2007 Lily, do you mean to say you're attending a wedding tonight too? That would be nice! I dont actually know who is getting married, all I know is that its family and I must attend. LoL. Zu, I just read that little dig you had at my expense. I'll have you know I'm VERY professional and very much into boundaries in the work place! And of course, I'm pleasant and approachable and all that important hoo-ha. Val, I dont mind contructive criticism. I just dont like people shooting off their mouths for no reason.... specially when you dont care to hear what they have to say. p.s. I really AM above criticism. I'm too good for my own good.
-Lily- Posted July 6, 2007 Val , as far as I know it’s a dirac affair, all weddings nowerdays are mostly dirac Dos. Serenity, that would be cool. Is the wedding your attending at least in London? West London? Not to give too much away to your many stalkers. I seem to have many ppl who are ‘family’ whom I don’t know either. Legend I don’t need a date, although my dance card is fully booked, plus a date would be very limiting .
-Serenity- Posted July 6, 2007 ^Yeah Lily, it is in the West . In a very well known sports club. LoL. I'm not sure I'd recognize you... I mean, when was the last time I saw you? 4 yrs ago?????? Hit me up with a pic and some vital statistics info
NGONGE Posted July 6, 2007 Serenity, I can just picture what your bedroom would look like tonight. Only friendless girls do their changing alone when it comes to weddings. So I expect that you'll have at least two other ladies (sisters or friends) changing with you. You'll spend four hours talking about the wedding you're going to and another four talking about other things. You'll empty the wardrobes and try on everything that you have! You will light up some uunsi! You will hog the toilets and several other bedrooms. The house phone will not stop ringing. When you're finally ready to leave you'll all look a million dollars. You will leave a total and utter carnage behind you though. I mean, if it's a dirac wedding, why do you leave dresses, skirts, shirts, trousers, suits, hats and even a sunglasses or two strewn all over the house? Why is the bathroom full of bits of makeup? Why does the entrance to the front door of the house resemble a mosque with millions of shoes, trainers and stilettos thrown all over the floor? ppffffttt..women! Legend of Zu Posted July 6, 2007 ^^^ Ooh well...@ least I tried! BTW...how do you fill out this dance card of yours? and where do you get them? Cheers
-Lily- Posted July 6, 2007 Ha ha ha Serenity, I think I've gone taller and I no longer wear trainers/sports shoes or anything comfy and studenty, oh and I've wiped off the 'don't you dare even look at me' expression. So definately a lot more friendlier Sports club? Do you mean the bigger of the two country clubs? Hmmm, maybe not same place after all. LoL Ngonge, You will light up some uunsi! Do I look like a 40 year old to you? The house phone will not stop ringing. True, as for the mess, no comment, there is always tmwr .
-Serenity- Posted July 6, 2007 NGONGE, I wish I took that much interest in dressing up. I'm gonna be home by 6:30 and out the door at 7:30. Probably be ready in 40mins, throw on a dirac and out the door. Of course, my lack of preparation always makes me feel less dressy and pretty than every other girl in the place. . But I really couldn't be bothered to put in the effort! You see, I'm not looking. . I'm taken ha ha!.
Legend of Zu Posted July 6, 2007 ^^^^ Less Dressy and Pretty kulahaa...ma waxaad rabtaa in jaariyaadka lagugu qaldo You better look sizzling and smoking otherwise you not get any numbers! Cheers
-Lily- Posted July 6, 2007 Serenity, the way I see it,if you have to try that hard it can't be real. Legend, you would have to be in the 'know how'.
Valenteenah. Posted July 6, 2007 Zu, did you not notice she said she is not looking because she is already taken? Lady dot protest too much, dheh. NG, your powers of observation are other worldly. That was me at 21 you described. Nowadays, my shoes are neatly lined up in their original boxes and my clothes are colour-coordinated and neatly sectioned. All the time.
