Authorities secretly investigate the HIV/AIDS and Gas Station link

Euro Police and the FBI have been secretly asked by the 3 European countries, USA and Canada to investigate a bizzare story circulating on the internet which alledges that some person or persons have been affixing hypodermic needles to the underside of gas pump handles throughout North American and Europe. These needles appear to be infected with HIV positive blood.

In Europe alone there have been 20 cases of people being stuck by these needles over the past five months and many more could be living with the disease unknowingly.

There have been reports of another 12 people in various Canadian provinces contracting HIV/AIDS through needles affixed at gas station pumps. It is believed that some of these crimes may be copycat incidents due to someone reading about the crimes on the internet. At this point no one has been arrested and catching the perpetrator(s) has become a top priority for the law authorities involved.

Shockingly, of the 20 people who were stuck in Europe, 16 have tested HIV positive and because of the nature of the disease, the others could test positive in a couple of years. Evidently the consumers go to fill their cars with gas, and when picking up the pump handle get stuck with the infected needle.

The countries involved are keeping the result of their investigations a top secret for fear of causing public hysteria. TV's, Newspapers and all other broadcasting media outlets have been bared from reporting these stories.
