10-Year-Old Gives Birth in Spain!!!!!!!!!!

News that a 10-year-old had given birth was enough to send the Spanish press into shock. But the announcement that her mother was delighted by events sent them into overdrive.

 

An underage Romanian girl gave birth to a healthy 2.9-kilo baby at a hospital in the Southern town of Jerez de la Frontera, reports Spanish daily El Pais.

 

The girl's mother, Olympia, speaking from a modest apartment block in the Andalusian town, said the family is "very happy." Olympia and her family had moved to Spain with the pregnant child weeks before.

 

"(She) is very happy with her daughter. This is a great joy. It is not a drama," Olympia is reported as saying by the AFP.

 

No criminal investigation has been launched by Spanish authorities as the father of the child is also a minor. The 13-year-old boy, described by Olympia as her daughter's former boyfriend, has remained in Romania.

 

The local authority is considering whether the girl and her newborn baby should be taken into state care or allowed to remain with her family.

Oh! Is it normal for a 10 year old to have sex in their culture?? Ughh..they should take away the baby for sure. Or the next thing you know she/he will be having babies by the age of 5, just to top his/her mother.
