5 Posted January 7, 2010 Seriously, I can't understand how Australians can be such pineapples in 21st century. Then again, there is a thread here on SOL posted just today, that asks if you would marry a Somali jareer etc.

Cowke Posted January 8, 2010 In Australia African Americans are not segment of the population. There are black people or natives the aboriginals but chicken is not offense to them nor any black person in Australia. As the article states the "chicken" offense is an insult in America and the commercial was not intended for "AMERICA" nor was it even allowed to be copyrighted and aired on youtube to an international audience. So really African Americans it doesn't concern them. The ad was aired for Aussies and Aussies know what racism and racism differs from context to context based on environments and region. Racism is really overplayed. Especially somalis who say they are muslims but hate "bantus" the question arises "didn't god create bantus"? the answer is yes. Does God Create something badly? of course not. To hate someone how god created them is infact saying you "hate" what god created. It's really a place u don't want to enter and can get really messy.
