I was FOB in 1996, mar aan Washington DC booqday from Baltimore ayaa maqaayad la i geeye oo Itoobiyaan miiran ah. Soomaali wey joogtay meesha. It looked exactly like that, oo hoos loo galaaye, si si u dhuubanayd like guri yar oo dhuuban basement ku yaalo camal. Waa xasuustaa rooti qaleel iyo a bowl of ansalaato with koobab biyo ah first noo keeneen. Xaa ka aqaan, waaba yaabanaa rootigaan qaleelka iyo ansalaatada angagan maxaa lagu sameynaa kaligood isweydiinaaye. Ileen kusii sug ahayd. Ma anaa kuu og, waa ku cusbahee Mareykan dhan. Saak, adi maa kuu shaqeeyaa. Ii soo raadi kulahaa. By the way, maqaayadahaan iyo kuwa kale aan kasoo tagay Mareykanka u badanyihiin. Kuwa dalal kale ah oo Soomaali leeyihiin la keenaa soon. The Zack Posted October 27, 2010 Dabshid, I once went to this restaurant in Nashville and we had to walk out because of the crap they tried to feed us as a food. Qashin bey nagu dili gaadheen. Of all restaurants I have ever been to, Hamdi of Toronto has by far the best Somali food I have ever tasted.
Som@li Posted October 27, 2010 Yeah, true, Some should not have a license to operate. And there are excellent Somali restaurants out there.
