Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 14, 2020 It's always on the table that's why the koonfurians try to stop these talks. The final solution will be total seperation. Those in the bunker know it the and the US UK EU know it to.

Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 14, 2020 These communique is just very funny its like they keep talking about having talks. But no one talks about the things that matter. I was expecting this out come.
Suldaanka Posted June 14, 2020 Good start. The talks are between two counties (Somaliland iyo Somalia) as equal entities. And the region, international community as well as interested parties are on board.

This was part of Muse Biihi's speech.
Suldaanka Posted June 14, 2020 Faisal Rooble, a formerly staunch opponent of Somaliland, has been awed by Somaliland's delivery of its case.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 14, 2020 Somaliland is very clear that's very good also the talks need to have a timeframe. The walanweyns love to waste time talking about nothing important. It's true the previous agreements need to be honered for the talks to proceed.

galbeedi Posted June 14, 2020 There is a huge fear among the Somaliland delegation already. Both Saleebaan Gaal and Edna went to the airwaves to cry foul and act as victims as usual. Why jump to the media before the conclusion of the meeting?, because they can not sell any deal to the local agitators. Either this Yamamoto guy is a weak link with no teeth or this is just the beginning of the first dance. A country like United States of America would not allow people they bank roll to leave the negotiations table without consequences.
maakhiri1 Posted June 14, 2020 If Sl keeps talking the nonsense we hear in this forum everyday, the talks will fail. Both sides must bring a new approach, out side box thinking BIIHI speech was like he plagiarized from this forum, have not seen Farmaajo speech yet
Dahireeto Posted June 15, 2020 Are we saying criminals got together for loot (donor money) and will issue memorandum of understanding so that each group can get their share of the begging bowl? We all know nothing serious will come out of unification talks. Waste of time!

These leaks and interviews by Somaliland are meant to counter N&N Fakenews and keep the public opinion, while also working hard at the round table discussions. So far N&N and their social media bots are on the back foot.

The best outcome that comes out is an agreement on the following, which are shared at the United nations level. These include: World Bank/Africa DevBank etc sharing of grants Airspace Passports/Travel documents Maritime control World Trade Organisation Telecommunications ( Country code).
