Faheema. Posted March 13, 2009 I don’t agree NGONGE, there isn’t any disambiguation as far as I am concerned. The underlying message stays the same regardless of how the information is presented or how “creative” one makes it.
NGONGE Posted March 13, 2009 ^^ Which one are you talking about now? This topic or A&T's?
-Lily- Posted March 13, 2009 Please can we be a little original? This sounds too much like misguided, confused, white middle class women babble seeking ‘liberation’ through their vaginers & borrowing the expreince of other poorer women to do so. The vagina is not anymore oppressed than the liver or kidneys. Makes a real mockery of the true oppression women face. p.s. the lack of self restraint is disgusting. Faheema. Posted March 13, 2009 NGONGE Both, which ever way you flip it, it's the same coin.
NGONGE Posted March 13, 2009 ^^ I disagree. (and I am not flipping anything in here).
Abtigiis Posted March 13, 2009 Spot on Lilly. Or the organs we use to relieve ourselves of food processes. Afkaaga Vanilla lagu qabay. mac! Now Faheema-MAP, I can send you all the stories and you will see if any is explicit. Indeed, when I talked about 'the benevolenet prostitute' I have talked about a sick man and a compassionate women. When I talked about a short man who could not do the double, I talked about being vertically challaneged as opposed to the act. When I talked about the extreme deforestation, I talked about some prejudices our men had/have. Nothing came out of the blue. The quivalent to what this girl is doing would have been if I talk (which I am now doing)about those kettle-lifting exercises we used to have as adolescents to gauge the strengths of our boyish tools. Now, that is cheeky. Hanaga hadlin. Ngonge- salaams saaxib and thanks for behaving like a friend for once. But I am really worried about the source of corruption I saw in CL and wehat role you may have played in this ultimate debasement. Where is Malika, who they say has come from the same woods. Gabadha taxaliil u dhig!
Malika Posted March 13, 2009 ^ , leave CL alone, deal with the topic she has presented dee. This is just another of those myths about women sexuality, this kind of talk, only hold women back, enabling them to remain captive to outdated ways of thinking about their lives. Should we still continue to view and see ourselves as 'the hopeless, ‘mules of the world’ with no needs of their own' kind of human beings? I don’t know if a virginal has that much to say any way, but I am sure the mind, would have had plenty to say about female sexuality, injustice etc, I think! I believe, we are actively fighting the unjust to women, be it about FGM or forced marriages or equal pay etc etc...I believe too, we are capable of joy, self confidence and sexual fulfilment through making healthy and morally right choices. Blessed, where would one find the tranquility, if not within a marriage..
Abtigiis Posted March 13, 2009 Malika, you are putting a spin on what young CL talked about in desperate bid to save face for SomTANZ. I perfectly understand, but people can talk about women sexuality, FGM, sexual fulfillment without crossing basic social etiquttees. Mentioning the thing is not in our culture, and in any way, why would someone look for emanucipation there when sex is primarily a mental game. Preoccupation with the hardware will not relieve anyone of sexual disappointment. It is in the mind, and the choices you make. Not in putting lipstick to no-go-areas. Faheema. Posted March 13, 2009 A&T, like I said your stories are far more explicit, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, bordering pornographic. Yet you have the cheek (no pun intended) to give a lesson on social etiquettes?
Ibtisam Posted March 13, 2009 ^^^He is just mad that others are doing what he was known to be the only do-er of. You know the only (insert word) in the villiage kinda thing.
Malika Posted March 13, 2009 ^Ouch! and harsh that is dear. A&T...LOL@SomTanz,I got my home girl's back ya know! I merely ignored that part of the discussion as I am assuming that sort of symbolism was used in the 60's by feminist when they burn their bra's..50yrs down the road its the viginal doing the talking and being portrayed as the voice piece of feminist issues..miyaa ila garatee sheykaduu? I think living in the west, with the constant bombadment of sexuality, sometimes some can mistaken it as liberation, but liberation from what?..
Abtigiis Posted March 13, 2009 No, I am mad a girl is doing it. Faheema, indeed, I believe and have no doubts I am best placed to give lecture on soical etiquttee. I am certain I will hold higher moral grounds more than you, when the facade of cyber niceity and vulgarity give way to real-ness.
