N.O.R.F Posted July 28, 2010 Scenes fit for the theatre played out when the Presidential Guard Brigade, PGB (Uganda) tussled it out with Libyan president Col. Muammar Gadaffi's security detail before the opening ceremony. The PGB was strictly enforcing the rule that only Presidents and their aides and the heads of protocol are allowed to proceed to the presidential entrance. But this did not go down well with Gaddafi's security who were determined to flex their muscles over this rule.

NGONGE Posted July 28, 2010 Gadaffi is losing the plot. He walked out half an hour later and sat in the garden outside. He then told one of his aids to call the Tanzanian president to come and have tea with him in the garden (qalbkiisa isga iska sitay). He also slapped one of his aids for taking him to the wrong place. Nigeria blames him for the trouble in their country (with Muslims and gaalo). Some Ugandans blame him for the bombing in their country. He asked for a United Africa and all the Africans are now accusing him of devising a plot to spread Islam. GaroweGal Posted July 28, 2010 United Africa he says? How will we ever manage that? when we can't even unite the Somali people a population of only 10 million, mind you with the same language, culture and religion. I say Gadaffi save your breath and let the philosophy of DIVIDE and RULE take place, atleast foreign powers will make use of the lands they conquer. I am betting Somalia will be the first to perish agree? politics aside, I find Gadaffi to be a funny man, did he not have all FEMALE bodyguards onetime? One the topic of divide and rule , I would like to share with you all an extract from Muhammed Al-shareefs article titled "The World's Bravest People" . "verily I was eaten the day the white bull was eaten". There once lived three bulls, a white bull, a black bull, and a red bull. Looking for food, a lion watched them graze together and realized he could not contend with all three. So he went to the black and red bull and made a deal with them. He told them that he was very ferocious and powerful and that if they let him eat the white bull, he would leave them in peace. The black and red bull agreed, and the lion murdered and then ate the white bull. Time passed and the lion became hungry again. He went to the red bull and argued that he was ferocious and powerful and that if he let him eat the black bull he would leave him in peace. The red bull agreed and the lion murdered and then ate the black bull. As time passed and the lion became hungry, he visited the red bull again. As the red bull saw death in the lions eye, as the teeth dug deep into it's neck, it shouted, "Verily I was eaten the day the white bull was eaten!" Yap, you have guessed it Somalia as we will come to see it.
