Black mamba in somali it is called (Goot ama Good) and it is extremely fast. The most distinctive feature of this snake is the blackness of the inner part of its mouth. But then if you were that scared from it we wouldnt expect you opened it's mouth.. :D

^^ He's the third person to comment on this with a different name for the snake. Heh.

I only say it's a black mamba becuase of the colour and size. Couldn't find anything else to compare it to.

^^ You two can laugh all you like. It was a snake (as you can see) and a bite from it could kill. Somalido waxay tidhaahda: size is not everything. :D

I bet you two will run at the sight of this lion:

^^ Only saw those on the highway, saaxib. Did not have to deal with them anywhere else (thank god). :D

My eye glasses were a bit faulty I admit. I once tried to take a good photo of JB and ended up with this: icon_razz.gif

I have just figured it out. Ngonge wasn't wearing his glasses! Judging from the cat pic no wonder he saw his life flash before him when he encountered the baby snake. It must have looked HUGE to him :D
