Deeq A. Posted April 19, 2020 Somalia has confirmed nineteen new COVID-19 cases, as two more patients succumb to the disease, according to the country’s Ministry of Health. Somalia confirmed its first case on April 8. Since then the East African country’s confirmed number cases have risen to a total of 135, with seven deaths and two recoveries. The country has recorded two people recovered from the deadly virus while the government is making efforts to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 among communities.
