Suldaanka Posted April 11, 2020 Indeed. Ceerigaabo is coming of age. The road between Burco and Ceerigaabo has contributed a lot to the local economy. More vehicles come and leave Ceerigaabo now, which is an indication that businesses are thriving, goods are coming and going. The more travellers, the more hotels and restaurants needed. The Somaliland's Government's millions that were spent on the road will easily be recouped within years.

Gobolka sanaag waa meesha ugu quruxda badan wadanka Somalia in my opinion waa gobol leh beautiful mountain, coastline qurux badan and the weather, a generally beautiful landscape all together. Holac Posted April 11, 2020 Other than the green mountains (which are in danger lately), the region is mostly desert due to heavy grazing and deforestation as is common everywhere else in the country. Desertification is a common problem in Somalia. By the way, when you make an investment like that in the country, do you ever get your money back? You wouldn't think the daily revenue from a gas station is enough to justify the initial investment to build a modern gas station.

Maybe for future growth of the region. Ceerigaabo is too far to get any car or trade traffic from Burco or Laascaanood. Why would anyone travel 300 km. Its best hope for growth is to connect more to the North East. Rather than connect with Berbera it should look east.
