Blessed Posted March 5, 2008 Siddique comes across as a suck up on this occasion. He sure is getting much applause from certain quarters. I’m obviously with Inayat, on this one. Islam is political. While, Affendi and Siddique are correct in their critique of current Islamic rulers, the rest of their argument is complete and utter rubbish. This topic reminds of the hadith where the Prophet (saw) mentions the different stages and changes the Islamic khalifah would go through...
Ibtisam Posted March 6, 2008 I don't generally like Siddique. But blessed Affendi and Siddique are very different, the only thing they agree on is the state of the current Islamic rulers. Affendi is very close to the Middle path way, he is all for a greater Islamic body. I like him a lot, for some reason he does not come across as the rant of an idealist, despite the fact that his ideas are not too far off Hizbu Tarir. JB how do you know my user name in comments is free?? Are you cyber stalking me??
