Khalaf Posted January 20, 2008 This brings up a couple of troubling issues - first is how she was able, as a non-Muslim, to enter Mecca, but presumably there is no test of belief required for the hajj visa, and a name alone suffices. (Which is especially ironic given that Muslims without “Muslim names,” devout though they may be, must provide the Hajj Ministry with a document attesting to their being Muslim.)
