Eelo American University: Where dreams come true

Will Eello contribute any difference to Somaliland as well as the whole region (Africa), was a question that has been popping up in my mind since its foundation. Fortunately, I got the answer “yes”.

 

It is only less than two years since its foundation, and you can not imagine how many students have been enrolled in different educational levels.

 

You can see, former Somali students who were not lucky enough to finish their education, because of war, have got a chance to continue their learning, while professionals take part time classes at night, evening or etc.

 

Thanks to Allah, Somaliland seems to be going out of darkness into the light. I mean, from illiteracy to education.

 

I always give Eelo this nick name: the freshly minted weapon against illiteracy. It is a good step towards success. Eello American University provides fields of knowledge for which people used to go abroad. Many people’s aspiration was to learn computer engineering, computer science, or architectural engineering.

 

Since we are in the third world, many of these ambitious youngsters found it difficult going abroad for further education, and if they go they face financial problem either to pay the tuition fee or the accommodation. So Eelo makes it easy for them to fulfill their educational ambitions at home. . One of them is my brother, Mohamoud Elmi Yousuf, who had a dream of becoming a computer engineer, many people shared his feeling and they have realized their dreams through Eelo American University. Our insistence on education is based on our resistance to illiteracy.

 

Congratulations to those> who devoted their time and money for the purpose of establishing and building Eelo American University.

 

May Allah reward you for the best job that you have done for your country. Amen…………Amen………………….Amen.
