Wow, what a success!

Even though it was snowing heavily a large number of people came. The hall was nearly full.

Plus it was a cross section of the Somali community. Business leaders, students, many intellectuals (I counted 4 professors and 6 PhD, and those were only of the ones I know), many of the community elders, religious leaders, and community activists were all there.

There were TFG and ICU supporters and a passionate discussion.

All in all I came away with the impression that the majority of Somali people will no longer sit idol and let the situation in Somali digress in a negative direction. That solutions have been found to the problems that effect us and those solutions come from within the Somali community; not from outsiders and that the Qabiil virus will not be tolerated.

I have never felt so inspired to take action to help Somali as I felt tonight!

Even though the situation is bleak, the future of Somali is bright!
