x_quizit Posted April 16, 2004 I love this show!!! Can't wait for the next one...i actually stopped working on a major paper just so i can watch it...talk about being a fan! Im gonna have to agree with Gediid, in the beginning i was rooting for Troy as well, because he was the only candidate without post secondary education and yet had the best "think on ur feet" mentality...after he left, i was pleased that Kwame and Bill were the final two, they both equally deserved the job and what made Bill win was the fact that his team didn't have that horrible two faced beep omarosa on...and no..race had nothing to do with it...I believe the best man did win, and Im happy for Bill, and im sure Kwame with his top notch credentials and fame from the show would soon get himself a prestigious job too. Now a q...out of all the candidates...who would u most identify with? what's ur style of leadership/working? Im kinda like Bill in the sense that i run around when deadline time comes like a chicken with its head cut off, and I admire Kwame for remaining so cool and level headed the whole time...i wanna be like that!! Warmoog Posted April 16, 2004 Ah, The Apprentice. When the first episode aired, I was hooked. It's definitely the best reality show I've ever seen... better than Survivor I (which, until last night, was my ultimate). Last week, when there were 4 competitors left, I thought it would come down to Amy and Nick (go figure). After those two got fired together, I knew Bill was going to win. pearl, Omarosa was irritating the hell out of me too. By the way, I saw that Oprah episode. No one called her the n-word... she lied, but where's the surprise in that? To be honest though, the paranoia being displayed by some of you guys is almost laughable because you're making the outcome of the show look racist when that wasn't the case at all. As usual, some people will always scream racism whenever a black man 'fails'. In reality, folks, 'the man' didn't dupe a brotha of what was rightfully his; kick him out on his behind, without a cold dime to his name, etc. Out of 215 000 applicants, Kwame and Bill came out as the top 2, so they're both winners in my book. I'm sure both learned many lessons from their 13-week-long job interview. Now Bill can start his new career and Kwame will go back to his nice job on Wall St. It's that simple. All's well...
SomeAlien Posted April 16, 2004 america *is* racist. its not paranoia. having said that, i do believe the right person won, but if kwame did do an excellent job do you think they wouldve hired him? i knew there was no way they were gonna let him win. 2nd price is a job as kfc's c.e.o... fried chicken!!! btw, anybody catch donald trump calling himself "the donald"? i laughed for 10 minutes straight. Warmoog Posted April 16, 2004 X, good question. I think I'm most like Bill (and I'm not just saying that because he won). Kwame was calm, cool, and collected but when it comes to deadlines I'm more like Bill; someone who's a perfectionist, panicky, stressed, and looks a little nutty to observers. I worked as the editor of my high school newspaper in my senior year and I remember 'editing' (re-writing) some people's articles beyond belief, to the point where you couldn't even tell if they had written it or I had. That kind of a style is extremely stressful and tends to burn out whoever's in charge, fast!, because he/she is basically doing everyone else's work and their own. I hope Bill learns to relax a bit, otherwise, he might end up jumping out of one of Trump's skyscrapers... in which case, the irony would just be too funny. somealien, lol, I think The Donald is his pet name for his hair. I was wondering if it was a hairpiece, but apparently it's real (he said so on Oprah).
Gabbal Posted April 16, 2004 Is Kwame an African by any chance? Even second-generation?

LayZie G. Posted April 16, 2004 All of you are entitled to your opinions, and so am I. I've watched the show from beginning to the end as most of you have. Even though I've read what every and each one of you wrote before me, I have to agree with Darman. He is the only one who brought up the part where Everyone in the casino, including the CEO of the taj mahal was in state of panic because they were all told that the banquet room can only fit 150, and as soon as Kwame was filled in, he instantly came up with the idea of one group at a time, this way everyone is satisfied. Most of you have managed to forget on lastnight's finale show, when y'all were so proudly convinced that Kwame was the more deserving of the two, it wouldn't have made much of a difference becuz what omarosa did was a set up. She was called to come back and sabotage the show intentionally.(No need to hate on omarosa, she did her part.) We all watched Kwame repeat the same mistakes he had repeated early on the season, when he was put on as a project manager, he has managed to let others take over rather than himself, and somehow managed to get through this far and that should be enough for the man from Harvard. Good education, good manners, and overrall a good man, but that did not make him prove he can lead an entire company into success and build a multi-million dollar empire in chicago, thats just an example. He was given more chances than Bill was given, and kwame failed each and everyone of them. Troy managed to screw up couple of things, omarosa has done an outstanding job making him miserable and all she needed to do was just shout at him or smack him just to get some feelings into him, that was all that was left for omarosa to do and he still did not react to it. The bottom line is, if Kwame had not picked Omarosa earlier in the choosing, he would have ended up with her anyways because Bill made the first choice, and therefore he had the upper hand. Senora Posted April 17, 2004 it wouldn't have made much of a difference becuz what omarosa did was a set up. She was called to come back and sabotage the show intentionally.(No need to hate on omarosa, she did her part.) How so?..that girl criticised every team leader she pretty much had, she does what she wants to do most of the time, and let's face it...her past behaviors plus the final episode have been pretty much consistent all around.....Omarosa is naturally an egotistic screw up....no acting whatsoever.... yeah, Kwame would have been stuck with Omarosa either way... And the whole leadership thing....you got leaders who made it big b/c they were hard on their employees, were the final decision makers, and made sure evrything went according to plans(Bill)....and then you got those leaders who wouldn't have made it far had it not been for their great staff, no need to check up on them...they have got everything under control....(Kwame)..
