Kulmiye Posted June 25, 2008 Gandhi once said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Whether these women are familiar with the saying or not, they've taken the words to heart. If you don't know what I'm talking about- just check our country market... speaking of influential-the first woman to become a president resides in Africa -yet there is this concept in the western that the women in Africa are less value and only have a house wife statues. anyways my point is --- is the time that we show respect to our sisters educated or not educated, and thats to my Somali brothers in particular- Lets hope they will be the solution to our country. well thats all I got! Zash Posted July 30, 2008 Yeah, i agree with you. Respect has to be accorded to our somali women, apart from all the good things they do as a daughter, sister, wife and mother they have added the role of being the breadwinner to their basket of deeds. Kudos! to all women!
