Valenteenah. Posted September 28, 2005 ^ There's no need for lynching, dear. Anything that ends with an -ism should have no place in our faith. And that includes dogmatism, as well.
Faarax-Brawn Posted September 28, 2005 ) Allow me to pull "A Khayr" on yallz.(Oh shut it folks; ); Horta Salaamzz? "O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the believing women to draw their outer garments around them (when they go out or are among men). That is better in order that they may be known (to be Muslims) and not annoyed..." (Qur'an 33:59 Here is a direct quote from the Quran. Hijab is a must, just like any other Order from the Almighty. The question has been if there is a co relation btwn the levels of imaan & hijab. One thing I know is that refusing direct orders from the quran has dire consequences. Check this right hur folks (Shoot, even I know this one). " And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way, We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell. What nd evil destination!" While one cannot precisly use the hijab as a measuring stick(Gauge if you will, since we are all 'Engineering-sque'), for iman levels,it does show that dis following a directive from Allah, will appear to people as to indicate low levels of imaan. Ultimatly, the person has the 'JOICE',maaha? No one has the right to vindicate the non hijabs. After all no one is perfect and the almighty is forgiving. Observations(as this one) are welcome and I honestly believe the sisters should actually take it as positive critism. Actually they MUST. Anyone who refuses to listen to da'wah and the good word, is infested with shaydan demons. Laakin, Lecturing and authoritizing the non hijabs(or those who speak for em,haha) is I believe what they detested.(Hated?, Perhaps its Baashi,Xiin that they hate, because of past 'Head on collisions') . Anyway Baashow Bashaash and Xiin Xaabsade had good intents, their tone was somewhat 'Tough'. And can one blame em?, after all they are Manly Men.
