Baluug Posted April 6, 2007 I find it amazing that people still like music that's made by a crappy Casio keyboard and a drum machine.
Xalimopatra Posted April 6, 2007 ^ Have you listened to Qaraami with the kaban?Do you believe that the simplistic and heart wrenching qaraami is outdated too because it doesn't have Timbaland's studio crew producing it?Lol Leave the Casio keyboard alone dammit! As for the woman singing.....I liked her dirac is all.
Taliban Posted April 6, 2007 A white man speaks Somali and says oodkac. A white woman dances and sings in Somali. Mighty BIG DEAL! Like only Soomaali dhalad can speak or sing in Somali! Go figure:.........

As for production, I prefer DJ Quik. His beats are kinda repetitive and the same, but still good. And yes, I can sing and speak Somali, I don't see anyone starting threads about me!! I'm jealous.

Blessed Posted April 8, 2007 McXamar. That's just too bad. All this time, I had you down as a true Faarax. I was even planning a 'wan qal' thread for ya. Thanks, Rose. I meant inaga or inaka. Anaga / anaka is still exclusive.
Alle-ubaahne Posted April 9, 2007 This is funny walaahi, how she forces to sing in Soomaali. the white girl will never make Soomaali song complete. She sounds like Kimiya speaking in Somali. Oh how sad is that?
