Fabregas Posted March 20, 2007 David, why not save all that information on a blog?
Chimera Posted March 20, 2007 to Peacenow and Geeljire, journalists, students and other non professional and professional groups when interested in Somalia all ''go'' or are ''redirected'' automaticly to the somalia Wikipedia page to get a view of the country's history and culture - this is a fact case in point my teacher, she always had a low opinion for Africa as a whole Somalia included(not sinisterly) and she's a wikifreak the last 2 months she has been giving me compliments about our country's culture and stuff so it must be the improvements of the Somali articles that changed her mentality just look at the difference between the Spanish Somalia article and the English Somalia article that is why it's better to improve and fight this systematic bias projected at our country on Wiki then open blogs or other stuff cause wiki gets more hits then any non Somali or Somali website related to Somali issue's gets so it is indeed ''important'' and in a few weeks time i will be to busy to watch over these articles and the vandals might mess it up again therefore it would be nice if there were more compatriots taking a little time off and spend it on Somali wiki articles and making sure they look good and get to the standard of other articles, just look at the Irani or Turkish related articles no non Turk or Non Farsi dares to touch these articles cause there 200 Turkish/Iranian editors lurking around and watching over it
Cara. Posted March 20, 2007 Dave, I'm totally convinced now. I'm going to practise my wiki skills and I'll help out in at least changing the page back if vandals mess it up.
