We assume they're not sleeping with multible partners, but since viagra was discovered they are longing for more sex. JB, one of them was yours! SCORPION_SISTA Posted October 22, 2008 Actually Roobleh, It doesn't require multiple partners to contract STD or HIV, it only requires one partner who has the disease, to contract it from...I think the problem is that people who are in monogamous relationship think their partner is healthy or not straying...And the other problem is that people thinking they know someone makes them believe they would be save with that person or that person would have told them if they had some STD prior to engaging in unprotected sex. roobleh Posted October 22, 2008 SS, you're right but the chances of getting HIV increases with multiple partners. A guy, for example, can have sex with a woman who is infected with HIV and still wouldnt contract the virus. If the viral load is less than that required to infect, then you may be safe to have sex with that infected person. How effective your immune system responds to such virus is also important.
