Somali police marks its 76th anniversary of foundation

Somali Police Force (SPF) has marked the 76th anniversary of its founding in celebrations held in Mogadishu and several other towns in the country.

The law enforcement agency was established in 1943.

The celebrations were expected to take place on Friday but the technical issue has been postponed to Saturday.

Somali leaders attended events to mark the foundation of the law enforcement agency.
