Dhaqaale Posted December 16, 2019 Articule from the African inteligence website. The Somalian president Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo is doing everything it takes to hold on to power. On 10 December, he invited his most loyal MPs to the Villa Somalia to elaborate with them a parliamentary delaying strategy to block the holding of a general election in 2020. As James Swan, the UN representative in Somalia, pointed out on 21 November during a briefing to the Security Council, parliament needs to pass the electoral code and adopt amendments to the political parties' law before the end of this year. ‘Any delay in this timeline puts the 2020 electoral calendar at risk', he stated. Farmajo is also trying to further undermine the federal states, with which Mogadishu has a fraught relationship. To this end, he asked Somalia's ambassador to Ethiopia Adihakim Abdullahi Amey who is from the Sool region and previously served as vice president of Puntland, to meet Turkey's special envoy responsible for mediation between Somalia and Somaliland, Olgar Bekar, on 6 December in Addis Ababa. Under discussion is the creation of a new federal state called Northeast (to the west of Puntland), which would encroach upon Somaliland soil according to a map which the Indian Ocean Newsletter has procured

Turkish will say no if they know its going to be against Puntland. Farmaajo is trying to provoke new conflict to avoid election and freely interfere in regions under state of emergency, which Abiy has found impossible to declare. Why not accept what was agreed in Djibouti and affirmed in Kenya and build on it? The Turkish are most unhappy with Farmaajo, vey unlikely to help him negotiate with Somaliland. All indications is this machination will die in face book.

Turkey might be unhappy with Farmaajo , but not with the crazy and outlandish reasons professor OO mentioned. In our side of the world, we don't care about these useless negotiations. These talks were nothing but a racket to make some cash. It worked for Ahmed Siilaanyo, but it doesn't work anymore. Che, The Sool/Sanaag region is intended to reduce the violence in the east. Not only the northern H..ti but the Sanaag Habro might join them. It will cool down the unending Ceel-Af Weyn conflict, finish off the Caare rebel group and remove both somaliland and Puntland from the flash points of Tukaraq, Sool and Sanaag. I wouldn't add Togdheer in this new region. The Makhiris will lead the new region, the Habro ( West Burco) will be vice president and the dysfunctional Garaad community will be the parliament speaker. It could be done, but Farmaajo is afraid of being accused of interfering with tribal issues, or destabilizing Somaliland and Puntland while they are all aware that the region is already unstable and needs new realignment. I am from the west side of Somaliland and for us Sanaag is a foreign land. Even Muuse Biixi and Faysal Waraabe privately said, " Sanaag iyada Soomaliland u baahane anagu uma baahnin". If I were Farmaajo I would do in heartbeat. They are accusing him all kind of things without lifting a finger. These Nabad Iyo Nolol fools are spending $20 million to set up the outlaws of Galmudug who are not even interested the so called Galmudug region , yet they can not spare few millions to create one of the biggest regions within the republic. By far Sanaag is one of the biggest regions in Somalia.1/3 of Somaliland belongs to Sanaag. If you add Sool , you got the second biggest region after Puntland. And by the way, Sanaag and Sool are much richer than Puntland it self both in terms of agriculture, livestock, minerals and hydrocarbons. Haven't you guys heard about the gold rush in Sanaag? By carving out these region both the two corrupt regions of Somalia -Puntland and Somaliland--who are stagnant economically and socially will be orphans. After that, you have to negotiate with Togdheer, Woqoyi Galbeed and Awdal, the three regions that formed and voted the so called Somaliland. These were the ones who voted for the referendum of 1999. Walaahi, you could take over the whole country without firing one single bullet. Ah, biciidkaan dili doon, subagiisa ma dhami.

galbeedi Posted December 20, 2019 Tilamook, Saaxiib we like your presence here in SOL. Baryahan xageed ka dhacday? I heard that in Somalia there is tradition that they will never re-elect a president which means Hassan and Farmaajo could both lose. I am just thinking what could be....... Ceerigaabo Ceel Afweyn Badhan Laasqoray. Ceerigaabo was always shared. While Badhan and Laasqoray are exclusively Maakhir community towns. Now Sanaag has even more districts than 1991. While Garadag became a district, there are also big districts in SAnaag Bari like Hadaaftimo and Dhahar. If you measure by today's population centres, east SAnaag has four major districts. Dhahar, Laasqoray, Badhan and Hadaaftimo while they share Ceerigaabo. By the way, being named district by Somali administration whether it was military government or the current one is not the best way to measure towns or districts. Here is dhahar, by far the best landscape in the North. Below Hadaaftimo.

galbeedi Posted December 24, 2019 Didn't I tell you long ago you got your own press and you pull forgeries from your a... This summer , when you copy pasted about Jawhar having 7 high schools or Shabeelaha Dhexe having 47 schools total and showed in one of your copy paste forgeries, I no longer trust your so called official forgeries. If someone lies and posts forgeries about basic things like how many middle schools Jowhar has , certainly he will do again on other things. By the way, Lasqoray has been a district with fishing industries and vibrant population throughout eighties. We all know it like what we had breakfast for this morning. You can falsify things and lie to the kids here , but I do not believe anything you post here. Now who is worthy of Degmo today. The village of Garadag or the big towns of SAnaag Bari: Hadaaftimo and Dhahar. It is well known 45% of Sanaag belong to the the Makharis, 30 percent to East Burco 10% to Sool community and 15% to east Burco.
