Ok, perhaps its a bit of exaggeration but most definitely we were on the top league. Here are some of the service men http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXIZDCmH2Mw&watch_response

Faarax-Brawn Posted January 20, 2007 Where the hell are the MIGS now? Scrap metal in some european city?
RedSea Posted January 21, 2007 ^Better question, where the heck is the country? I have seen at least 7 migs in Hargeysa;s old airport. The best pilot the somalis ever had died just last decade, he was also knew how to asemble the miGs themselves. So he assembled one of them and took one round around the city, landed on old Hargeysa airstrip,he later died.He took his knowlege with him.He was the same guy that scripted '21 october on the skies with the smoke that was coming from MiGs exhuast. Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted January 21, 2007 I am sure it is on late '80s, perhaps 88 or 89. Ar diyaaradahaas miigga aad aan u xasuustaa, maxaa jeclaa, always looking forward to each Oktoobar. Every ciyaal loved them, the way ay isku bursan jireen, like birds. Kor intee aadaan ayee caadka kasoo baxayaan iyagoo xoog ku socdo, you would think inay kugu dhici doonaan and then turn sharply. Kummaandooska, too. Mas ma cuntaa? Haa! See u cuntaa? Ham! The whole street of Tarbuunka from Jidka Sodonka ilaa iyo Lambarafar dadweyne aad u badan aa taxnaan jiray. Indeed, waagaa heybo lahayn. Dhubad. Posted January 21, 2007 ^^I have seen several old MIGs abandon somewhere near Baydhabop but not sure where that is. Inshallah this nation will comeback strong one day.
