JB this is totally a fitna front you are trying to cause..Neither did Caano Geel say anything "BAD" against the "Conspiracy against ISLAM" nor did Bro Nur taunt him in any way.Bro Nur was taking it easy..talking literally about different issues, advising him about life and so on..Caano Geel even said the problem to conspire against ISLAM comes from our "Within"..and we agree..So I tend to ask.. Why are you spreading "Fitna".. In wikipedia..You find the word Fitna is: Fitna (Ùتنة) is an Arabic word, generally regarded as very difficult to translate. It is often used to refer to civil war, disagreement and division within Islam and specifically alludes to a time involving trials of faith, misquoting and so on JB brother..you are alone in SOL..Think before you leap.. Nur Posted February 9, 2006 Caano Geel bro. It seems that you found a chrystal ball solution for personal, Economical, religious problems facing Muslims its is " Treat everybody like you would like to be treated" Well, Dont you see your over simplification: I expected to get a thoughtful response along the lines of concrete proposals that will turn events over so that Islam as a faith and Muslims as faithful people take their place among nations. On a personal levels I expected that you would suggest that every Muslim should apply and live with the tenets of our faith and not succumb to pressures of life in a non Islamic world, neglectinmg their duties to Allah, thus becoming the laughing stock of nations. Economically speaking, you could have suggested a the establishment of community savings to pool together our resources to help our communities and kids. Religious speaking, you could have proposed an organized Dawa program, that interfaces with host countries and, yes respects their culture and faiths, while delivering a clear message of Islam. Brother its better to live in undeveloped anarchist Somalia freely worshipping Allah than to feel unable to practice your faith nor express your feelings in an unhospitable atmpsophere. FatB Posted February 9, 2006  nur and caano geel tho. What you both propose is desirable i must stress that as humans there will never be equal opportunity of everybody to thrive as they wish to thrive....what you both propose is idealistic at best....but there is always hope, with out hope what do we really have.... FatB Posted February 9, 2006 oh and before i forget yes there is a conspiritor that is trying to underminde islam. and he goes by the name of Ibliis (shaydaan)
Baashi Posted February 9, 2006 Conspiracy To Undermine Islam, Is there One? Yes. Islam is a religion with over one billion followers around the world. Geopolitically they sit a valuable resources of energy and as the need of energy security rises so are the temptations to control these necessary resources. Ideologically, Islam presents an alternative way of life and in most cases it rejects the Occidental political, economical, and social framework. As the Muslim reawakening continues the powers that be feel threatened and will try to insure that their hegemonic hold on the rest of the world does not slip through their fingers. Now in the cold war era the two dinousors wrestled in the diplomatic circles and they undermined each other in the regional battlegrounds. Conspiracy and the war of ideas through institutional and media levels was a fair game. The same is true today. The only thing that changed is the enemy. Reds are not coming anymore. In fact they are devising ways and means to have mutual relations with their former nemesis. Terrorists are coming instead. For some strange reason media refers the terrorist as Islamic whereas the IRA, Tamils, and other violent groups are referred by name. Guess why? Not to see these factual world events that staring us in the face is a sign of confused mind. All nations have interest and they will try to fulfill their so called national security by any means necessary. Within this context, conspiracy is old and fair game. Good to see you back bro Nur. Keep them coming - the original write ups that is. You seem to recycle the old ones...Time is not your side I understand but still SOL needs that angle, prespective and what not of things ya know. Same here little time.
