General Duke Posted February 21, 2007 Aisha my love How can one start this poem? Will it capture how I feel? With a magical verse Full of emotion, honesty and true worth They ask who's eyes are those? That sparkles like the stars With no hint of imperfection That face That rare expression Those eyes of my fathers Clear as the heavens Your smile timeless Simple words like priceless Do no justice to describe what you mean to me I can not wait till you take a step What then but to accept That fate has delivered me joy You the promise of the new dawn The hope of tomorrow You who forever I have longed for To guide me past that grey door. Fiqikhayre Posted February 21, 2007 Indeed I agree with brother Sophist, beautiful words! Brother GD is only a proud father and there's nothing wrong with it. I wish him many more pleasure's, contentment, enjoyment, happiness and beautiful days ahead of him to enjoy with his child and may Allaah the great keep him and all of us safe from any harm inshallah.
